- Early morning
City tour: visit downtown, Church of Santo Domingo, La Merced and
the colorful market of
San Cristobal de las Casas
- Then drive to the nearby Indian
community of San
Juan Chamula,
the most traditional Mayan town; observation of the costumes, rituals and
ceremonies practiced by the natives with influence of catholic elements.
- Visit
to Zinacantan, place of bats,
a Maya-Tzoltzil town.
- Free
afternoon in San Cristobal
de las Casas.
- Overnight.

03:

Amatenango del Valle, Chiflon waterfalls, Tenam Puente, Monte Bello & Comitan
- Visit
to Amatenango del Valle, a Maya-Tzetzal town, see
the elaboration of local ceramic.
- Visit the Chiflon
waterfalls and the greatest water fall in Chiapas State.
- Visit
to the Tenam Puente archaeological zone,
the ball game and Maya temples built in this extraordinary place.
- Drive
to Monte Bello
lagoons to
visit the 5 Lakes, Encantada and Esmeralda Lagoons and Ensueño Lake.
- Drive to
Comitan
and lunch in a regional
restaurant.

04:
Las Guacamayas &
Las Nubes
- After
breakfast drive to "Las Guacamayas", on
the route
visit Tziscao Lake and Pojoj Lake with a canoe ride.
- On the route to the
forest, visit and lunch to
"Las Nubes", and eco-tourist center.
- Continue to the "Ejido
de Reforma Agraria" ,
walk and bird-watch, specially the "Ara Macao" (Red macaw) and the
"Mono zaraguato".
- Accommodation in the
hotel and dinner at convenient time.
- Overnight.

Day 05:
Las Guacamayas, Lacantun River
- In
the morning, visit the macaw nests.

Motor-boat ride by the Lacantun River (free time for fishing and
swimming).
- Back for lunch, free
afternoon and dinner at convenient time.

Day 06:
Lacan-ha, Mactuni-ha
waterfalls, Yaxchilan, Frontera Corozal
- Early
drive
to Lacan-ha and breakfast with a Lacandona family.
- After
breakfast walk in the Lacandona forest, guided by a native who will relate
the history and
visit
to Mactuni-ha waterfalls.
- Continue
to Frontera Corozal. After lunch, take the motor boat in the Usumacinta
river to Yaxchilan.
- Visit
Yaxchilan Maya city, immerse in the jungle with monumental temples full of
iconography that depict a splendorous past.

Bonampak, Agua Azul & Misol-ha waterfalls
- After breakfast drive to
Bonampak.

Agua Azul
waterfalls with free time to swim, visit and lunch.

Continue to Mishol-ha waterfalls and then
to Palenque.

Palenque, Villahermosa
- Morning visit to
Palenque
archaeological zone, the greatest Mayan city, admire the superb
architecture and art from the main culture in Meso-America; in the complex
you will find structures such as the Temple of the Inscriptions, the
Palace, Temple of the Sun & Temple of the Moon among others. In Palenque archaeologists have registered more than 200 Temples still covered by the
jungle.
- Afternoon lunch in a
regional restaurant.
- Transfer to
Villahermosa
airport or bus station.
